41 FUSED TOOTH

7.5 year boy’s parents applied to the hospital complaining that the tooth in the right side of the lower jaw looks unaesthetic. According to the parents, abnormal tooth shape and size could be observed immediately after the tooth had erupted.

To determine a clinical diagnosis and to run a differential diagnostics of the pathology, the patient is offered to undergo X-ray examination i.e. CT scanning.

It is apparent from the X-ray picture that 41 teeth have abnormal spatulate shape, root system is in the process of formation.

As a result of clinical examinations and analysis of the patient’s CT jaw scan, there was determined a diagnosis: 41 joint (fused) teeth.
